Herbal Essences

Hey again!
So as I've said in one of my past blogs, my hair can be very unruly. Because it used to be so curly I have trouble taming it when I let it dry naturally. I've been having this problem for a while so I decided to have a good look at what sort of shampoo I needed. I have always loved the smell of Herbal Essences shampoo's and I saw the 'Tousle Me Softly' shampoo on the shelf at Superdrug. I picked up the shampoo and bought that first and to be honest by itself it didn't make a huge amount of difference, but feeling adventurous I picked up the conditioner about a week later and WOW!
Using the conditioner as well made my hair smooth and silky and much easier to tame. I had been using another conditioner but I assume the matching 'Tousle Me Softly' shampoo and conditioner were the winning combo. They smell great with their 'Wild Violet & Pomegranate' and give your hair that extra freshness.
I would definitely recommend it to anyone who has hard to handle hair, a favourite from now on!

Yankee Candles

Hey again!
Even though Christmas is only 4 days away, I've been excited but over the last week I've been feeling so tired and drained of energy.
Thanks to my school we've had to do mocks in the last week of term. Even though mocks aren't as important as real exams, I always find exams and end of term assessments stressful.
Anyway! Because of the stress I've been finding myself becoming less festive by the second... But one thing has redeemed me.
YANKEE CANDLES!
I love them! I normally buy them for my mum's birthday but have had a real candle kick lately. I've bought 'Mango Peach Salsa' and 'Clean Cotton' before and have to say they are lovely.
The festive line boasts some lovely fragrances such as 'Sparkling Cinnamon', 'Christmas Cookie' and 'Red Berry & Cedar'.
For someone who loves Christmas-y fragrances or long lasting candles, these are the perfect gift!

Phoenix Rising

Hey again,
Coming up to christmas I get very excited! Everything is 'christmasy' and I love the christmas feel. One thing I do hate about the cold weather though is the fact that it can really dehydrate my skin. Even if I moisturise every time after I get out the shower, my skin can still look and feel lack luster.
One thing I have read about in blogs and seen advertised is Lush's 'Phoenix Rising'.

When strolling around Cardiff one day I noticed a little Lush shop I hadn't seen before and as any curious shopper I went to have a look. I had been previously to Lush when I was in London and I was quite impressed with their skin range(review most probably coming up) while I was there.
I wandered round for a bit but saw nothing to tempt me until I was about to leave the shop and saw the 'Phoenix Rising' bath bombs.
Needless to say I fell in love with them at first sight. They were so pretty and they smell amazing! They smell just like christmas with cinnamon and have shea butter, cocoa butter and jojoba oil in them. These are obviously the key ingredients to the rehydration of my skin.
But the best thing is that once it has finally dissolved into your bath, all the cinnamon and jojoba oils seem to sink into your skin and leave a sort of film to your skin. It sounds disgusting but the scent stays on you and you feel renewed for days.
I would and definitely will repurchase these again and I think they're quite reasonable at £3.20 each.

Ear Cuffs

Hey,
So for the last year new fashion trends have bombarded my senses. Bright satchels, Caviar nails (Review coming up), ombre hair and much more.
One of my favourite trends over the last year has been... Ear cuffs!
Since the trend came in I have ummed and arred about getting my helix pierced but didn't really make up my mind.
Luckily, to the help of ear cuffs I've been able to see what it would look like if I did have it done, and I have to say... I like them better! Not only do they look nice but I can wear them in different places and sometimes double up.

I think for the time being I'll keep my ears to their normal piercing and stick to the cuffs, but for anyone who really wants their upper ear pierced, why not try some cuffs out first?
